We are going to restore the historic city center. You will certainly notice the activities.
Various historic buildings and the Waterfront will be refurbished. Work will also be carried out on some roads in the center. If you notice something that you think is not correct, please let us know. We highly value your opinion. Together with you, we want to make our historic downtown an even more beautiful place.

The Surinamese government has undertaken construction activities to restore the historic city center of Paramaribo.
Various historic buildings and the Waterfront will be refurbished, and therefore construction activities will take place in certain parts of the city center. It is inevitable that traffic and buildings in the city will experience some inconvenience from this work. Please feel free to let us know if and how you are inconvenienced by these activities.
